When you meet a new person on a project, it is a rare occurrence to be immediately on the same page with EVERYTHING. Meet James Knott, our colorist, with whom I had a very productive meeting with. December 24, 2010
Merry Christmas to everybody! We are currently 81% funded by 18 backers with 18 days left. It’s an awesome statement, not only because it’s full of lucky 8’s but also because I can see our goal becoming a reality. In the past few days we have reached out to more organizations, friends and family members for their support and we are just waiting to hear back. We’ll check back with everybody next week…

Despite my hectic work schedule and my crazy commute, I was also able to spend some more time on the project. Returning with new energy and fresh eyes I made some changes and adjustments to our short film. Furthermore, I have secured a very talented sound person by the name of Will Ogilvie, who will get rid of noise from the dialogue tracks, create additional sound design and do a final mix. Right within our budget, which is amazing! I also realize now that my biggest, and probably most expensive, problem is color correction. The mood of this film is essential to the story and shooting over two weekends has created its challenges… that and trying the work around the sunshine in SoCal, which is nearly impossible. Still, I feel it won’t be a big deal once this job lands in the right hands.

And of course, all of this wouldn’t be possible without your help, so once again thank you all for your continuos support! Happy Holidays.
